An exciting and unique opportunity is available for a professional, positive & efficient House Person to assist our Burleigh Heads team in an array of differing areas.
This unique role allows you to experience and understand a wide range of hotel operations. Assisting across many areas of the business, this important role will give you a chance to showcase your talents.
In this position, you will work primarily alongside our Housekeepers & to ensure all rooms are cleaned/ checked& maintained to a high standard before our guests are checked in, as well as attend to maintenance items reported to by Housekeepers and guests, ensuring the room is up to a high standard upon guests arrival.
Neat presentation, attention to detail, an optimistic nature and flexibility are all essential to this role.
We are looking for people who want to work as a team, flexible hours and days available. We will provide ongoing training, support and room to grow for the right candidates.
Daily tasks may include;
- Pre arrival Room checks
- Attending to Guest Enquiries and delivering stock where necessary.
- Assisting with cleaning where necessary.
- Attending to minor maintenance requests
- Assisting with furniture assembly/deliverables
Ensuring properties are styled correctly and providing recommendations on upkeep and presentation Driver licence and own transport required, with the ability to travel in between jobs throughout central Gold Coast.

• Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
Current Drivers License
• Be flexible and available for work across a 7-day roster with rotating shifts (Weekend Work a must)
• Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
• Be committed to providing extraordinary service
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a hotel establishment is highly advantageous
