Join Our Team at Country Comfort Perth! We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our dedicated housekeeping team at Country Comfort Perth.
This pivotal role will involve assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction.
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise and support the team, including room attendants and shift leaders, to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
You'll work closely with various departments to ensure a seamless experience for both guests and team members.
In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, you will take charge of the department's operations, ensuring smooth workflows, staff performance, and adherence to procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest floors and public areas.Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.Ensure proper handling of guest requests, complaints, and special needs, ensuring an excellent guest experience.Monitor and maintain inventory, equipment, and linen supplies.Perform regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure quality standards are met.Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure they are resolved.Manage key control, lost and found items, and ensure the safety and security of hotel guests and staff.Oversee adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying objects up to 22kg, as well as working on stairs and ladders.Move and manipulate various equipment and supplies in a fast-paced environment.Experience & Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department, preferably in a hotel environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.First Aid qualification preferred.Why Join Us?
