We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime. The Role Based at Drysdale River Station this is a hands on role that is not only responsible for cleaning with the team but also responsible for the management and presentation standards of all accommodation on the property ensuring that the rooms are cleaned and presented to the highest standard expected from our guests. The role provides an opportunity to live and work remotely for a season with meals and accommodation provided. Duties will include but are not limited to; Monitor and ensure that the guest accommodation is cleaned and presented to the required standards Report maintenance faults; damage to furniture and fittings in all areas of the guest accommodation Drive quality standards of cleaning of accommodation across the property Ensure linen and towels are washed, dried and folded within required timeframes in line with guest arrivals and occupancy Ensure lined stock levels are recorded Ensure quality of linen is in line with standards Ensure guest amenities are stocked and par levels maintained Supervision and coordination of the Housekeeping function Assist and support the team by being a hands on leader who will be required to also clean guest accommodation A passion for delivering unforgettable experiences, a passion for the outdoors and sharing special places that make Australia a location to remember. The ideal candidate will have: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a knack for making people feel at ease Ability to solve problems without compromising on the delivery of exceptional guest experiences Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within hospitality Strong attention to detail Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively The physical ability to perform cleaning tasks; including bending, lifting and standing for long periods of time Previous supervisory experience desirable An attractive hourly rate The amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic, growing tourism business.
