Meriton Suites is currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to support our Zetland property.
About the Role As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the Housekeeping department operations. You will work closely with your Hotel Manager to maintain the high standard of appearance that is required, this includes in the suites, public areas and back of house. You will work in a professional environment which includes a clear career progression pathway.
Your key responsibilities Daily allocations of rooms and duties. Manage all training of staff. Co-ordination of workforce to meet daily deadlines. Delivering efficient preparation, cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms in accordance with Hotel standards and guest expectations. Effective time management capabilities with a methodical management style. Attend to guest enquiries and requests. To be successful in this role you will Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Have a proven track record in providing excellent accommodation standards in a large scale 4- or 5-star hotel or serviced apartment environment. Have proven leadership abilities. Possess in depth industry knowledge. Have a natural eye for detail when it comes to cleanliness and the overall operations of housekeeping. Be immaculately presented. Focused and passionate about guest service. Team oriented and able to work under pressure.
