Working closely with the Facility Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms and common areas as well as providing laundry services and generally ensuring that residents' daily needs are met.
This role is physical, requiring a lot of bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, and our residents.
About You Compassionate, with a customer service mindset, you are a strong communicator and problem solver who 'thinks on your feet', builds supportive relationships, and strives for the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and order within the entire facility.
At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector. However, you need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, have strong communication skills, be computer literate, and committed to resident wellbeing, as well as the following:
Demonstrated cleaning experience desirable.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision, and 'think on your feet'.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Hard working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and support colleagues at all times.Who are we?
