Outback Parks and Lodges is welcoming applications for Housekeeping and Guest Services Attendant to be based from our Alice Springs Village.
About Us: Located less than 5km from the center of Alice Springs, Alice Village offers visitors clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet setting out of town with views of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges.
Alice Village offers a variety of accommodation options for both short term and long term stays, with studio apartments, right through to 4 bedroom houses, and onsite gym, swimming pool, BBQ area and onsite parking.
The Opportunity: This role encompasses duties across the key Guest Services areas of Housekeeping and reception, which includes:
Performing cleaning duties and reporting maintenance requirements of cabins, amenities blocks, leisure facilities and grounds areas. Assisting the Manager with Reception duties such as checking guests in and out, answering calls, checking, actioning and responding to emails, invoicing and other such duties. Providing guests and visitors with relevant information as required. Other reasonable duties as required to ensure smooth running of the Village. Please note, that this role will initially offer 20-30 hours per week and will transition to full time (40 hours per week) from the end of January.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 12 months cleaning/housekeeping experience and ideally hold a current Drivers License (though not essential).
You will have excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and be experienced in Microsoft Office products (primarily Word, Excel and Outlook).
Ideally, you will have previous Receptionist experience.
Onsite accommodation can be provided for this role.
Suitable candidates may be required to undergo a Police Clearance check for this role and will be required to complete an internal Fitness for Work Assessment as part of the recruitment process for this role.
