About the job… At the Novotel Surfers Paradise, we are not only focused on our guests, but also our people.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic, experienced Housekeeping Attendants to join our diverse Housekeeping team.
Ideally, you have previous experience in a similar role, in a hotel with 200+ rooms.
We are offering casual and permanent part-time positions.
As part of the Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for offering a quality customer service experience by maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors, and service areas.
Responsibilities include changing bed linen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking amenities.
Key responsibilities: Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely mannerCleaning guest rooms as required, ensuring they shineCleaning Public Areas with great attention to detailA team player, happy to help out wherever needed in Housekeeping, Rooms, and HousepersonCarrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotelTransferring dirty linen and removing rubbish and recyclingSafe handling and use of chemicals Qualifications
About you… To be successful in this role, you have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and are committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
You will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.
Experience: Previous cleaning experience; hotel cleaning experience highly desirableA can-do positive attitude & service with a smileA keen eye for detail with good time management skillsExcellent communication skills and comfortable using a two-way radioExcellent personal presentationFlexible availability to work on a rotating 7-day roster including weekends and school holidays (and overnight when required)Understanding of correct chemical usage & manual handling techniques to ensure safe work practices in this physical roleMUST HOLD VALID AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS; we are not offering sponsorship.
