Rare opportunity to join the hospital leadership team Location in Parkville Healthscope is a leading national provider of private healthcare. Melbourne Private Hospital is a 122 patient bed major tertiary referral hospital, collocated with the Royal Melbourne Hospital. We are renowned for complex procedural casemix and excellence in clinical safety and patient care. We are a team of dedicated health professionals working with world renowned Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist to provide outstanding care.
We are looking for a suitably qualified & experienced Manager to take on this role. The role of the Hotel Services Manager is to oversee the management of the Catering Department, Housekeeping and Orderlies within the strategic direction of Melbourne Private Hospital
This role involves: Demonstrated positive interdepartmental relationships Human resource management Innovative problem solving Exemplary customer relations Promotion of a culture of risk identification and management Responsibility for performance improvement activities Demonstrated accountability for own professional development Positive outcome focus Highly motivated and organised Extensive experience in the food services sector Experience and demonstrated skills in a management role within a health care or similar environment. Minimum of five years' experience in a Hotel Services role, preferably within a health care setting. Food Safety Supervisor & HACCP Certifications Experience developing and monitoring budgets. Highly developed strategic, conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills. Outstanding communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Why Healthscope?
