Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. You will manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, and provide exceptional service throughout the guest's stay. Familiarity with the Reslynx/Guestline booking system is not essential for this role but is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.Reservation Management: Handle bookings and reservations using the Reslynx/Guestline system. Ensure that all reservations are accurately recorded and updated.Front Desk Operations: Manage all front desk tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting with guest inquiries or requests.Payment Processing: Handle guest payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate billing records.Guest Relations: Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options. Address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records, prepare daily reports, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.Security and Safety: Monitor the security of the hotel, ensuring that all areas are secure, and report any suspicious activity.Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Reslynx/Guestline booking system is preferred. Familiarity with other hotel management software is a plus.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner.Organisation: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
