It is a favourite amongst business and leisure travelers with 103 stylish rooms conveniently located close to key attractions such as Roma Street Parklands, Queen Street Mall, North Quay, and Brisbane City Hall.
The George Williams Hotel is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual Hotel Receptionist.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Receptionist at the George Williams Hotel, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to guests during their stay.
What will my time look like? Welcoming guests upon arrival and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out processHandling guest inquiries, requests, and providing accurate information about hotel facilities and servicesManaging reservations and assisting with room allocationsProcessing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate recordsCollaborating with various hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficientlyUpholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and presentation at the reception areaSupport the Night Manager with daily tasksAm I a good match? Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using computer systems and knowledge of hotel management software is an advantageAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesFlexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and eveningsHold a current national police check or be willing to obtain oneHere's what on offer?
