About the role Stamford Plaza Adelaide is seeking enthusiastic, hardworking professionals to join our Front Office Team as Hotel Porters/Concierge staff in a Fulltime capacity, to provide exceptional service to guests throughout their stays.
Core requirements of your role First impressions are memorable, this integral guest satisfaction role is required to ensure operational efficiencies within our Front Office Team.
Creating a seamless check in/check out service experience to our valued guests, we seek the following: Mature persons to securely park guest cars, deliver bags and amenities in accordance with the hotel policies Offer expert insight on the hotel amenities and the surrounding local area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectation Main point of contact for external & internal guests Act as a front of house security advocate ensuring non guest are cautiously escorted Work Health and Safety diligent Escort guests to their room and review the cleanliness and maintenance of the room upon entry reporting all service improvements immediately where required Valet parking or assisting guests with self-parking Assist guests with tour and car hire bookings Provide knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and activities Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Hotel facilities, and awareness of all functions and activities occurring Efficient and effective management of guest luggage and clear communication at all times during interactions About You If you are a trustworthy, passionate people person, self-motivated and pleasant mannered, enjoy working as a pivotal part of a team and possess the following, please apply: Customer service experience, in a similar role is desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Well-groomed and presentable Thrives in fast-paced constantly moving environment, ability to multi-task Adaptable and able to problem solve efficiently Perform tasks with focus on attention to detail and integrity First Aid Trained (desirable) Hold a full, unrestricted drivers license and able to drive manual and automatic cars (as required) Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks Ability to work flexible roster in line with operational requirements (Sunday to Sunday) Full unrestricted working rights in Australia Culture and Benefits Discounted meals and beverages Supplied meals during allocated shifts Employee Assistance Program Discounted onsite dry cleaning Career growth opportunities Discounted onsite car parking How to Apply If you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
