Due to a growing customer base and increasing business, our hotel is thriving. To ensure we continue providing stable and high-quality service, we are seeking a full-time, long-term hotel manager. This role is essential to help us maintain our standards and manage our expanding operations effectively.
The successful candidate will need to satisfy the following criteria: Diploma of Hospitality Management or relevant is preferred.Understanding day-to-day operations, including housekeeping, front desk management, food and beverage services and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.Awareness of health, safety, and legal regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.Familiarity with hotel management systems like Little Hotelier, booking platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda, and other technology tools used in the hospitality industry to streamline operations and improve guest experiences.Strong knowledge of recruitment, training, and staff management.Exceptional service skills and guest focus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able and willing to work day & night shifts, weekends and public holidays.Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities.Supervising security arrangements, gardening and property maintenance.Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction.Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities.Providing guests with local tourism information, and arranging tours and transportation.Checking hotel accommodation prices, marketing rates, and adjusting hotel rates to ensure maximum profit.Creating and updating our operations systems by designing standard operating procedures.Ensuring compliance of hotel operations according to hotel policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.Resolving guest complaints and implementing changes to prevent future issues.Carrying out building caretaking and management role which includes liaising with building occupants, landlords and Owners Corporation.Building out hotel clientele base and driving corporate sales to achieve targets through Sales and Marketing efforts.How to apply?
