Lilianfels Resort and Spa is a renowned luxury Hotel located in the heart of the Blue Mountains, our establishment embodies sophistication, elegance, and world-class hospitality. As the Hotel Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operation and management of our luxury hotel. You will work closely with the Regional General Manager to ensure the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. About Lilianfels Located in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains National Park and just a 90 minutes drive from Sydney CBD is Lilianfels Resort & Spa. Set amidst two acres of manicured gardens adjacent to Echo Point, this 5-star resort boasts 85 rooms, multiple food and beverage offerings, a 13-metre heated outdoor infinity pool and a 10-metre indoor pool, sauna and spa. With views across the historic formal English gardens and the escarpment of Jamison Valley in the background, Darley's Restaurant is Lilianfels Resort and Spa signature fine dining Blue Mountains restaurant, renowned for its fresh, local produce, fine wines and innovative cuisine. The role and key responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, spa, food and beverage, and other departments; Collaborate with department heads to maintain and enhance service standards, ensuring a seamless and luxurious guest experience; Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, leading and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service; Implement and uphold the hotel's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations; Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue and enhance the hotel's reputation; Monitor and manage financial performance, budgets, and expenses to achieve profitability goals; Actively provide overall hands-on management of the business, ensuring all reporting requirements and administrative tasks are completed using approved business systems. Essential criteria required to be considered: A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager from a luxury or boutique hotel environment; Proven experience in a leadership role within the luxury hotel industry; Come from a strong food & beverage background, preferably high end, fine dining; Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and industry trends; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both guests and staff; Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment; Passion, energy and enthusiasm and a proven track record of leading, motivating and growing successful and loyal teams; Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
