We can't wait to meet you at The Mont! The Claremont Hotel is excited to announce that we have an exciting management opportunity. We are seeking a Full Time Hotel Manger to lead our fabulous team.
With darts, meats raffles, pool table and Happy Hour, The Mont has become a favourite place for locals to meet for a good bistro meal or just to catch up with family and friends in our lounge.
What the role looks like Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager you will be expected to be hands on with the daily operations, including gaming. You will lead and manage an efficient and close-knit team, manage the hotel's budget, ensuring outstanding customer service is always provided and build and maintain key relationships within the community.
Your duties will include, but not limited to;
Day- to day running of gaming rooms, and hotel, including staff rostersAssisting with budgets/ and controlling costSupervise and support staff during shifts both in gaming and bistro areaHandel customer queries and complaints and issuesEnsure all policies and procedures are always adhered to including gaming regulations and Vantage groupTo be successful in this role you will have the following: Experience in an operational senior management position within the hospitality industry or a related industry, including proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs and growing profitabilityDemonstrated practical experience in the delivery of quality customer service, preferably in the areas of food and beverage and gaming.Demonstrated capability in managing an operational team, with a focus on customer-driven service delivery and a practical understanding of contemporary people management practicesDemonstrated effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and cooperate with customers, management and co-workersProficiency in the use of industry related software systemsWell-rounded, current gaming knowledge, and applied knowledge of relevant legislation/regulations applicable to the hospitality industryAvailability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidaysQualifications Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) CertificateCurrent Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate,Certificate IV/Diploma in Hospitality or above (desirable)Eligibility to hold a Liquor and Gaming license.If the position above sounds like you and what you are looking for, we want to hear from you.
