Front Office & Guest Services (Hospitality & Tourism)
Located a short walk from Circular Quay train, bus and light rail interchange, among the cobblestone laneways of The Rocks district in a quirky heritage building, you will find the delightful Sydney Harbour Hotel. Offering 176 rooms and a relaxed restaurant and lobby bar, we are located centrally offering a quintessential Sydney experience.
THE ROLE: This rare opportunity ensures that the shifts across the Front Office department run smoothly, efficiently and continues to provide an outstanding guest service and experience.
The role can be varied and is responsible for the oversight and management of the Front Office Team, check in and out process, accurate administration and compliant business management.
You will promote the Hotel effectively and communicate efficiently across a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this position, we are seeking individuals with experience in a similar Duty Manager position - ideally from the Hotel industry.
You will be an invested communicator and a natural problem solver - you should be well organised and value a team environment.
Our Hotels are collaborative and inclusive and a likeminded approach will be valued.
You should be open to work within a 7 day roster and this is likely to include weekends and public holidays.
You will be an ideas person who uses initiative to resolve issues easily.
Finally, we would appreciate strong IT skills and experience using Opera PMS would be highly regarded.
