Roles and Responsibilities: Strong experience to configure and troubleshoot Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and 2022.Expertise to analyze Windows Events to identify the cause for application/operating system issues.Hands-on experience on Active Directory in the multi-domain and multi-forest environment.Knowledge of AD group policies and expertise to troubleshoot AD replication issues.Design, implementation, and maintenance of the Active Directory infrastructure.Configuring and administering Active Directory, DHCP, DNS management, TCP/IP, GPO.Secure remote administration of the DCs and member servers managed by the Infrastructure Group.Manage group policy at root of domain and for Domain Controllers OU.Experience in Windows patching using SCCM and WSUS and should be able to troubleshoot Windows update issues.Experience to configure and troubleshoot Windows file servers/DFS Namespaces.Should be able to migrate file servers from older operating systems to newer operating systems.Hands-on experience in configuring Windows DHCP server scopes/fail-overs and managing Windows DNS servers.Should have experience in managing large Windows Infra in both Physical and Virtual platforms.Strong hands-on experience with hypervisor and compute virtualization technologies (VMware, Vxrail, VSphere, vCenter, vCloud, VMware View, vRealize, vSAN, NSX, Microsoft Hyper-V).Expertise experience on VMware vSphere upgrade, P2V V2V Migration and Server Migration along with PowerShell scripting.Design & Implementation of Disaster Recovery Solution with VMware SRM.Strong Troubleshooting skills on ESXi servers using Command Line.Expertise experience on Server platforms: Cisco Unified Computing Systems, HP, Dell, IBM server infrastructure.Creating Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS).Configured Resource Pool, V Motion, Alerts, Alarms, NTP.Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations.Creating Templates from VMs, deploy VMs from templates and allocate resources.Expert Knowledge on Microsoft troubleshooting skills and tools, including OS Hardening and Vulnerability assessment.Essential: Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.Windows Certification will be preferred.Additional Skills: Excellent customer interfacing skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.All aspects of employment at Infosys are based on merit, competence, and performance.
