Byron Bay (under Millett Group) is looking for a full-time dedicated and highly motivated manager team with a strong recorded background on management, compliance, maintenance, booking system.
The primary objective of this position is to organize and coordinate the day-to-day operations providing a range of accommodation and ensure guests' needs, wants and comfort are satisfied during their stay.
Responsibilities: Managing and oversee all aspects of Wake Up Byron Bay Maintaining online reservation system and ensure accuracy of information Ensure that guest satisfaction is the prime focus and respond to and implement feedback Active promotion and marketing strategy to promote the business service and amenities Maintaining effective supplier and tour operator relationships; Upholding a high standards and quality in all aspects of the business Understanding of all areas of a full-service facility; Ensuring the compliance of all regulatory obligations including Responsible; Service of Alcohol and Occupational Health & Safety Training and development of staff; Prepare costed proposals for potential clients seeking group bookings and events.
Maintain and co-ordinate implementation of daily, weekly and monthly hostel tasks including as cashing up, recycling and waste disposal etc.
Periodically be 'on call' to cover emergency out-of-hours call out Ensure effective and efficient running of the hostel and that all systems, facilities and procedures are in place to comply with legislation and lease provisions, including health and safety requirements and maintenance.
Oversee ordering of supplies; manage supplier relationships, ensuring good value for money in accordance with financial procedures.
Essential requirements: Relevant Diploma Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience Excellent communication skills including negotiation, problem solving, conflict resolution, assessment and the ability to quickly create rapport Professionally presented with a warm and empathetic personality; Ability to work well in a team but also take ownership of tasks Have a strong focus on customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively, and work in a team environment Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
Ability to plan, organize and co-ordinate, working to tight deadlines using own initiative Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a.
plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
