We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Host to join our team at Australia's largest hotel.
Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. As Sydney's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

Our ideal Host will have a bubbly, friendly personality who will create the first and last impressions for the guests. Further to this, the ideal Host will have a passion for the hospitality/hotel industry, and wants to experience a fast paced and vibrant environment. Your main responsibilities in this role will be seating the guests, offering menus and any cocktail/food suggestions. To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to think quickly and be able to problem solve.
Our ideal candidate will possess: Have previous customer service and bar experience in a similar environment Acquire strong problem solving skills Provide a professional customer service-friendly personality Coordinate the department operation to ensure service standards are met Possess a friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal relationship skills to be able to relate well with customers from diverse backgrounds Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates Responsible for coordinating the work of the Food and Beverage Attendants ensuring they are performing their duties in accordance with standards Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of furniture and fittings, operating equipment, venues décor, public areas and service areas are maintained and clean Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa | Honolulu , HI , US Grand Hyatt San Antonio | San Antonio , TX , US
