We are seeking individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander who are interested in pursuing a career as a Hospitality Officer.
An integral part of our big-hearted BlueCare team, as a Hospitality Officer you'll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.
Your part in our Blue Care team:
To perform this role, it is essential that the person is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
As a Hospitality Officer, a key support role to the delivery of our services, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run efficiently and our clients and residents receive an exceptional experience.
You will:
Support senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services.
Prepare, cook and deliver food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary requirements of our residents.
Uphold impeccable hygiene standards.
What makes a difference for us?
Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning.
Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.
Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
