The Position Based at Peter Arney Home in Salter Point, your role as a Cleaner and Laundry is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you'll help create an environment that feels like home. If you're dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere and take pride in high standards, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our seniors every day!
This is a permanent part-time role offering 40 hours per fortnight.
Week 1 & 2 Monday: 0700 - 1200 (Cleaning)
Key responsibilities: Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routineVacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areasMaintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational valuesConsiders resident lifestyles and personal choiceMaintains effective interpersonal relationshipsManage laundry routines in line with the laundry scheduleEvidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policiesAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checksNDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)Proven organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as a member of a team, as requiredWillingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training InstituteHow to apply If you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
