Description Position: Hospitality and Domestic service assistant Location: Warrnambool, Victoria Hours: Flexible, applicants must be available across a range of different shift patterns + weekends We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Lyndoch Living facility as Hospitality and Domestic Services Assistant.
This key role involves assisting in meal preparation and service, maintaining a high standard of food safety, and supporting cleaning duties to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of our residents and clients.

The opportunity: As a Hospitality and Domestic Services Assistant, you will: Assist with the preparation and serving of meals for residents and clients.
Ensure all food safety standards are met, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in your designated work area.
Follow checklists and audit requirements to ensure effective and efficient food handling.
Order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Ensure the security, cleaning, and maintenance of food preparation equipment.
Report any environmental hazards immediately.
Assist with cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Perform general cleaning as required to keep the facility safe and hygienic.
Requirements Food Preparation and Handling: Experience in preparing and producing quality food.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in food handling, is essential.
Experience in an aged care setting is advantageous.
Food Handling Training: Appropriate food handling training is essential.
Cleaning Techniques: Knowledge and understanding of cleaning materials and techniques are required.
Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently with limited supervision or as part of a team.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
