ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or "villages" for remote workers, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.
The Position: We are seeking experienced Cleaners/Caterers to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis starting asap.
Here, you will work alongside our professional team who strive to create a fun and safe work environment.
Industrial Cleaning: Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: cleaning offices, cleaning toilet blocks, cleaning tea shacks, rubbish removal, restocking and cleaning crib huts, and chemical handling.
Kitchen Hand: Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: making sandwiches/salads, cleaning the kitchen, dish/pot washing, rubbish removal, restocking food items, cleaning kitchen equipment, mopping/scrubbing floors, chemical handling, stock unloading, cleaning dining rooms, restocking bar/drink items, vacuuming/mopping, till operation, and serving drinks.
To be considered for the role you must: Have previous cleaning/catering experience Be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week Be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment function and drug and alcohol screen Ability to work efficiently without supervision and as a team player Have a current driver's license and transport to get to and from the ferry daily (5am) Be a Gladstone local What's in it for you?
