The Opportunity We are seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy, located in St. John of God Murdoch Hospital, Western Australia.
You will be part of our oncology team, delivering outstanding pharmacy services to our client hospital and their patients.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and broaden your career within a hospital environment, particularly in the oncology/haematology field.
You'll work closely with a caring, supportive team while acquiring new skills and knowledge in hospital pharmacy operations.

About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be assisting in preparing prescriptions, handling patient queries, and ensuring the timely supply of medications.
Key Responsibilities Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customersDispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patientsAssisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory managementDelivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wardsEntering patient-specific data into the pharmacy databaseAssisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issuesLiaising with hospital staff and associated personnelSupporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks Shifts 30-hours per fortnight (Mondays and Tuesdays)Occasional work on statutory public holidays, with the team rotating coverage.
Each team member is expected to work 1-2 public holiday shifts annually. About You We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician with experience in dispensing within an Australian pharmacy setting.
