Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a passionate individual to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Slade Pharmacy, located within Mulgrave Private Hospital in Victoria.
This is a unique opportunity to gain highly sought-after hospital pharmacy experience while specialising in cancer care. You'll work alongside a compassionate, multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional pharmacy services to both the hospital and its patients.
If you're currently working in community pharmacy and eager to move into a hospital setting, this role offers a perfect opportunity as hands-on training will be provided to ensure your successful transition.
In this role, you'll Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatientsAssist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stockReconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profilesProvide support to patients, carers and hospital staffAssist with retail ordering and reconciliationAssist with S2/S3 salesProcess PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on dischargeConfidently complete administrative and record keeping dutiesAssist with patient account enquiriesAbout Us

Be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person's lifeHave time management, communication and teamwork skillsBe proficient in using FRED dispenseHave knowledge of the PBSHave strong customer service skillsBe adaptable with the ability to prioritise your workloadEligibility Requirements: Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacyKnowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)Knowledge of S2/S3 medicationsWhile hospital experience is desirable, it is not strictly necessary. If you're adaptable, motivated to learn, have a can-do attitude and are looking for your next step into the wonderful world of hospital pharmacy, then this is the job for you!
