You will be rostered 6.5-hour fortnights, working one Saturday shift every alternate week, with additional shifts available on request.
This position is ideal for pharmacists seeking weekend work or those looking for a flexible role that complements other commitments during the week.
Whether you're an experienced hospital pharmacist or transitioning from community pharmacy, we offer hands-on training to support your development in the hospital environment.
About the RoleYour key responsibilities include:
Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.Dispensing and supplying medications and pharmacy products.Managing patient medication needs during inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.Building and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure outstanding service to patients and clients.Providing support and education to patients, carers, and hospital staff.Advising on health promotion, disease prevention, and the proper use of medications.Pharmacy operating hours are as follows: 7am-7pm on weekdays, 7am-2pm on Saturdays, and 8.30am-11.30am on Sundays. About YouTo be considered for this role, you will be an AHPRA-registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.
You will have a team-focused mindset, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
