The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time Hospital Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy in the highly regarded Hollywood Private Hospital, Western Australia.
You will be part of an innovative and multidisciplinary team delivering outstanding pharmacy services to our client hospital and their patients. You will work with an expert team of allied health professionals and doctors to leave a positive impact on patient care. Established in 1942, Hollywood Private Hospital is the largest hospital in Western Australia, and the largest private hospital in Australia.
With over 900 licensed beds, the hospital is a leader in advanced robotic clinical technology.
It offers comprehensive care across a wide range of medical specialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopaedics, palliative care, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and urology.
About the Role This role is a permanent full-time position.
You will be based onsite at the Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, with onsite paid parking and several great cafes within walking distance! As a Hospital Pharmacist, your duties include:Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines.
