We're on the hunt for a superstar to join the Hospital and Performance Analytics team at Medibank.
Why the role rocks: You will support decision making in respect of Hospital Contracting. You will work closely with business groups to identify key reporting metrics and KPIs, design reports and dashboards with documentation of business rules and testing.
Tackle some of the biggest, boldest problems in the business by: Working with business groups to identify key reporting metrics and KPIs and providing input into delivery through report prototyping, dashboards, documentation of business rules and validation of delivered reports.Monitoring and analysing hospital performance in terms of benefit outlays, service delivery and providing targeted recommendations, commentary and insights.Analysing provider profiles and providing advice as to contract initiatives.Proactive and predictive analytics – building tools and insights to better forecast hospital claiming patterns.Who you are You've got a degree under your belt and have a knack for analysing complex data and developing innovative, business-focused reporting.
You are a strong communicator with the ability to influence at a senior stakeholder level and tell the story within the data.
You're no stranger to structured problem solving, from defining issues to testing hypotheses. You're a whiz at business cases and quantitative analysis (forecasting, scenario modelling, you name it!). Known as a self-starter, you juggle priorities like a pro, and your innovative, collaborative spirit shines through.
You will have experience and understanding of SAS, SQL, R or Python programming. Experience with dashboard development using Tableau would be great but definitely not necessary.
