What You'll Be Doing:
The Storeperson is responsible for monitoring, ordering, receipting and dispatching of stores to all departments and Business Units ensuring timely and efficient management of procurement and inventory.
Selection Criteria:
Evidence of a current NSW Forklift licence and ability to maintain.
Demonstrated stores / warehouse experience in the purchasing, storage and distribution of stock.
Demonstrated organisational skills including ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, health professionals, staff and internal / external providers and the ability to interpret direction and work unsupervised but as a member of a larger team.
Demonstrated literacy and numeracy skills including a proficiency in data entry and NSW Health Service computer applications.
Demonstrated understanding of a "No Lift Policy" and the ability to operate equipment designed to minimise manual handling.
Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain.
Ability and willingness to drive / travel as the role requires.
This may involve driving long distances.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases: This is a Category A position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024 015.
All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy.
OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
