About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, H@H offers an exceptional chance to utilize your advanced clinical skills and develop new clinical skills while adhering to professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies. Duties for the role will include:
Direct/indirect patient/client care: Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to infants, children, adults, and their families, addressing multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds.Autonomous worker providing hospital level care in the patients' own home.Recognising and responding to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately.Contribution to effective operation of the unit: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and seamless delivery of services.Support of health setting services: Actively participate in the ongoing improvement and enhancement of healthcare services.Education: Engage in continuous professional development to maintain cutting-edge knowledge and skills.Ability to prioritise workload, be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.Demonstrating commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care, with proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care.To be appointed at the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have completed a re-classification.About you: Advanced assessment skills and advanced wound management experience.Knowledge and experience with PICC, ports, venepuncture, and IV cannulation.Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and confidence to work autonomously in the community.Must hold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.(RN2) Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.(RN1/RN2) Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Want To Know More?
