The objectives of the Cleaning Services at the Hospital and Specified Health Facilities is to provide all ACT health staff and their clients with an environment that is tidy and visually and hygienically clean at all times.
The outcomes of the Services are to:
enhance the comfort and morale of the patients; maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff; maintain a microbiologically safe environment for patient care; and present an inviting environment for visitors and members of the public. These services are to be undertaken with minimal disruption to hospital routines or patients.
Shifts We Can Offer: Multiple Casual/Part-Time/ Full-Time Shifts Morning and Afternoon Shifts What You Will Be Doing: Carrying out general cleaning within the site Operating cleaning machinery Adhering to all OH&S policies and procedures Maintenance of cleaning records and compliance standards Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers Criteria: Experience in cleaning operations; commercial Must be physically fit to meet cleaning duties. Professional presentation and customer service Please note that prior to commencement, successful candidates will be required to: Comply with Canberra Health Services Screening and Vaccination policy Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check Must register under the Working with Vulnerable People Act 2011.
