Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals SthHospitals Sth - SAA&CSApplications must be submitted by Friday 22 November, 2024 11:55 PM AEST.Award/Classification:Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Health Services Officers, Level 4Employment type:Full TimeRegion:SouthLocation:Acts as a member of a team and performs duties consistent with quality improvement guidelines to provide hospital aide services, general housekeeping, porterage, and catering duties to patients within the relevant Unit.The Role:Provide general housekeeping services to the relevant Unit.Provide cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas in accordance with infection control guidelines.Assist nursing staff in the transferring and positioning of patients by manual or mechanical means, in line with manual handling guidelines and legislation and other porterage services to patients as required.Assist patients with aspects of daily living under the direct supervision of the nursing staff.Details of appointment:Permanent, full-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $60,666 to $63,222 per annum.
