John L Grove rehabilitation is based on the social model of care where transition to premorbid or alternative lifestyle is a priority when planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of a patient.The multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (MDT) at John L Grove consists of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, operational staff, various allied health professionals, pharmacist, and medical registrar.
The Rehabilitation physician guides and directs the medical care of the patients in this unit.The Role:As part of a multi-disciplinary health care team, the occupant of this position will perform a range of duties involving the provision of support to patients with daily living requirements, undertake some general cleaning of the unit and terminal cleaning post-discharge, assist centre staff with meal/drink distribution, and attend to ordering and replenishing of supplies.
