What we are looking for: We're looking for an experienced Horticulturist to join our dedicated team.
You'll be responsible for carrying out both day to day and programmed maintenance as well as assisting with park maintenance schedules and horticultural activities.
What your day will look like: Competently and safely operate relevant plant and fleet equipment Supporting the Team Leader in the preparation, establishment and review of maintenance programs Assisting with inspections of public areas looking for any faults or hazards Providing technical advice to Parks team members Promoting a positive, health and safety focussed environment Please click here to view a full Position Description.
What you'll need for success: You'll be a confident, capable operator with a Certificate III in Horticulture or a related discipline.
You'll have a thorough understanding of parks maintenance practices and integrated pest management practices.
You'll have: Strong communication skills The ability to work autonomously Experience developing work programs Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and Risk Management policies.
