We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience to join our team in China.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated horticulture professional to play a pivotal role in our continued success in China.
About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced horticulturist to undertake a temporary assignment in Yunnan Province, China.
Our China operations are continuing to expand and require additional support during this period to ensure horticultural activities are completed to the highest standards.
This role will be located in China for up to 2 years, however this is subject to some change.
This dynamic and busy role will be involved in all day-to-day horticultural activities including pest and disease management and irrigation and nutrition management.
A key element of this role will be developing other horticulturists on site so that the local China team continues to build in strength.
This role is varied and presents an opportunity for the right person to contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
All relocation costs will be covered.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Support and collaborate with local horticulturists on-site.
Share your expertise and provide guidance to help develop the team's skills.
Participate in hands-on horticultural projects and ensure best practices are followed.
Foster knowledge exchange and contribute to the success of the horticultural operation.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have strong horticulture knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve crop challenges.
In addition, you should have:
At least 5 years of experience in horticulture.
Experience in berry horticulture (preferred but not essential).
Ability to adapt to new environments and work as part of a diverse team.
Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge.
Experience using Microsoft Office packages.
Strong initiative and a drive to complete tasks and follow through on commitments.
The ability to question standard practices.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Assignment Details:
Duration: 18 months to 2 years (subject to change).
Accommodation and travel arrangements will be provided.
