About the position
The Anchorage takes pride in the way we present our resort to our guests. We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Horticulturist to join our maintenance team. This position is key to maintaining our garden landscapes to the level our guests have come to expect. Your daily activities will include:
Ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to all guestsExceptional upkeep of grounds including mowing, snipping, and weedingWatering and maintaining irrigation systemsPruning and shaping gardensLandscaping of new gardens and facilitiesChemical use including fertilizing, pest and disease controlAssisting with general cleaning and maintenance of all amenities and facilitiesThis position will require availability to work across a 7 day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and the busy school holiday periods.
Certifications required: Horticulture Trades Certificate, Current driver's licence About you

You will be physically fit, enjoy the great outdoors, and have a can-do attitude and have a passion and enthusiasm for the industry. In addition, you will take pride in your appearance, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to represent The Anchorage to the highest standard.
