Horticultural Specialist - Consultant

Van den Bos Flowerbulbs is specialized in the preparation, storage and export of lily and freesia bulbs and calla tubers. Van den Bos has several production sites to ensure we have access to the best quality flower bulbs throughout the year. Our bulbs are produced in the Northern and Southern hemisphere in optimal climate conditions. The annual production of our Southern hemisphere bulbs takes place over several locations in Chile, which cover an area of approximately 300 hectares in total. In the Netherlands we produce our Northern hemisphere bulbs, which cover an area of approximately 1500 hectares in total.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONResponsible for consultancy; advising flower growers/clients on all aspects of growing lily's and freesia's. Business development and management; identify opportunities for existing and new flower growers, acquisitions of new customers.
POSITION WITHIN THE COMPANYReports to the Managing Director in Europe.
