Horse Trainer/Horse Educator

Universal Stables are currently seeking an experienced full-Horse Trainer/Horse Educator for a busy racing/pre-training barn furthering the education of quality race horses.Location: Coleyville, QueenslandDuties Include:Train and educate thoroughbreds in riding trackwork, jump outs, pace/timed work, and on the ground including swimming, barrier education.Jump out, trial and race day attendance.Report any issues identified in riding work, in stables and around the farm.Provide and maintain health care, nutrition and well-being of horses.Identify and treat minor injuries/health issues and report serious conditions to trainer and vets.Data management and reporting.Minimum Requirements:All applicants must have a minimum of 3-years full time professional experience in the role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualification.Desirable Qualification:A Certificate IV or equivalent international qualification.Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per annum plus super subject to experience/responsibility.Please send detailed resume with 2 references to ******.
