We are seeking a Homologation Manager to fill a brand-new role at Volvo Group Australia.
In this pivotal position, you'll lead the coordination and execution of our homologation strategy across all truck brands.
This crucial role will ensure compliance with the Road Vehicle Standards Act (RVSA) while supporting legal compliance for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, and UD Trucks.

Key responsibilities include:Responsible for VGA homologation strategy regarding local legislation, such as the Road Vehicle Standards regulation framework.Lead activities to identify and manage evolving legislation requirements to maintain the homologation expertise and efficiency.Ensure good communication and information flow within the organisation.Networking with relevant authorities, associations and stakeholders, and interfacing with other Volvo companies.Who are you?University degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Law, or related field, with expertise in Australian vehicle regulations, including the Road Vehicle Standards framework.Strong market knowledge and understanding of the national approval process.Strong leadership and communication skills, with a drive for continuous improvement.Solid business acumen and negotiation experience with international authorities and organisations.RPEQ membership would be advantageous.Previous experience in a project-based and product-development environment.Business-oriented, customer-focused, and organized.What's in it for you?Work with one of the world's most iconic brands and be part of a reputation that has been earned over a century.Competitive salary package.A truly values-based organisation, inclusive workplace culture and passionate people shaping the world we live in.Modern, world-class open plan office with fully electric stand-up desks, an onsite café, parental room, end-of-journey facilities and the latest equipment.Opportunity to leverage a globally aligned and locally authentic icon.
