Homelessness Team Leader Contract

Step in and lead the team in Cairns!

Full-time contract (38 hours per week, with some on-call responsibility) with a well-known Not-for-Profit organisation in the housing and homelessness sector in Manoora.

You will:
Be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of housing units in complex.
Coordinate service delivery for client outcomes and responsibility for the management and outputs of employees within the line management chain.
Have effective leadership skills.
Demonstrate sound case management skills to support individuals with complex needs.
Show keen analytical skills and the ability to work within relevant funding guidelines and agreements, legislative requirements, and organisational policies and procedures.
Have a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, social sciences, or a related discipline.
Have a minimum of five years' industry experience working with clients in crisis, including holistic person-centred case management frameworks.
Demonstrate program coordination and leadership skills, including human resources and financial management, quality assurance, risk management, and reporting.
Have well-developed interpersonal, communication, IT, and organisational skills.
Hold a current Class C Driver's Licence.
