Working hours: 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday

About the role We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Visit Coordinator to join our pathology services team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient coordination of home visits for sample collection, contributing to the seamless delivery of our pathology services, collection of blood and other samples from including, but not limited to, home visits, ACF, Nursing Home.
Your duties will include: Schedule and coordinate home visits for sample collection, considering patient preferences and the availability of our mobile collection team.Communicate clearly with the home visits collection team to confirm appointments and provide instructions to address any inquiries or concerns they may have.Collaborate closely with our mobile collection team to ensure they have accurate and up-to-date information about each scheduled home visit.Monitor the progress of home visits, providing timely updates to internal stakeholders and promptly addressing any issues or delays.Develop and maintain an efficient schedule for our mobile collection team, optimising routes to minimise travel time and maximise productivity.Implement and maintain organised systems for collecting and managing data related to home visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Act as a point of contact for patients and the mobile collection team, offering support and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience for all parties involved.About you To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
A current full unrestricted driver's licence is required.Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.Previous experience in Pathology Collecting/Venepuncture is essential.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A high rate of accuracy and attention to detail.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team and look after the home visit collection team.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and interpret medical or clinical information.Ability to work flexible hours as required, including weekends and public holidays.Ability to understand and ensure compliance with WH&S policies and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Cert III in Pathology would be advantageous.Benefits and Wellbeing As part of working for Healius, you will have access to a range of benefits including:
