How you'll make an impact Reporting directly to our Home Care Manager, you'll play a vital role in providing customised care and services to each client, supporting them to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible. You will have the opportunity to build long lasting trusted relationships with your clients and make a real difference, everyday.
A day in the life as a Home Support Worker with Regis Aged Care may see you support our Clients with;
Getting up and ready for the day and/ or retiring in the eveningShopping and meal preparationMonitoring medicationMaking and attending appointmentsKeeping the home clean, tidy and safeProviding companionship and support to pursue hobbies and interestsAbout you As a compassionate and reliable individual who prides themselves with delivering customer service excellence, ideally with experience within the health and/or aged care sector, you'll have;
A warm and caring natureThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamA positive and practical attitudeAccess to a reliable, registered, insured vehicle.Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalentCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateEmployment with Regis is subject to satisfactory background checks which include Professional References, Police check, proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia and current year flu vaccinations.
