This role will see you supporting clients in Southbank, Flemington, Parkville and other inner-city suburbs.
Only applicants who live in the CBD and close surrounding suburbs will be considered.
In the CBD, there may be parking restrictions; at times you will need to travel to clients' homes on public transport depending on location and circumstance.
You will:
Ensure that clients' rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily livingWork within a multidisciplinary team, provide effective support to clients, recognise changes in clients' conditions and escalate observations and concerns in accordance with Uniting AgeWell processesPromote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friendsSupport colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertiseMust have your own car (registered in your own name), valid insurance and a current Victorian driver's licenceAbout you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.
