Uniting AgeWell's Hume Home Care Program supports elderly clients to live safely and independently at home for as long as possible.
We offer comprehensive ageing support and services, with local employment opportunities in Wodonga, Wangaratta, Benalla, Yarrawonga, Nurmukah, Nagambie and surrounding communities .
Our part-time roles require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week , ideally with daytime availability on at least three weekdays.
We are currently looking to grow our team with passionate and caring individuals in our Home Care Worker role.

_______________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Our Home Care Worker roles involve traveling between clients' homes to provide tailored support and care that meets their individual needs .
Responsibilities may include: Providing personal care, including showering, grooming, and mobility assistance Supporting clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores Monitoring clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, and reporting concerns Providing social support and transport for appointments or activities Respecting clients' rights, choices, and cultural and spiritual needs Pay Rates: Certificate III qualified : $31.60 per hour Certificate IV qualified : $34.46 per hour _____________________________________________________________________ What We're Looking For: We're looking for individuals with a passion for supporting people to live independently in their own homes.
A caring, empathetic nature is essential, along with a commitment to building strong relationships with clients and their families.
Successful candidates must also have: A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
Weekly availability to work during daytime hours on at least three weekdays.
Reliable transport and the ability to travel between clients' homes.
Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on maintaining safe, clean, and supportive environments for clients.
A strong understanding of the person-centred approach and community care, with dedication to delivering high standards for clients and families.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while valuing one-on-one client connections.

____________________________________________________________________ Mandatory Requirements: Qualification:  A Nationally recognised Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or equivalent (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing in progress).
Driver's Licence and Vehicle : A valid Australian licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
First Aid & CPR : Current certifications or willingness to obtain.
Working with Children Check (Employee) National Criminal Police Record Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check Annual Vaccinations : As per organisational policy.
