Part time permanent positions availablePositive and supportive work environment$29.94 to $34.76 per hour + $0.99 per km and travel timeWhat you'll be doing in this role: In this role, you'll provide care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in Wagga Wagga. You'll be required to travel to clients' homes and communities, using your own car.
Key Responsibilities: Home Assistance: Housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.Personal care: Assisting with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support, and medication administration.Transport: Providing transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.Who we're looking for: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.Medication competency is highly desirable.Provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a fully comprehensively insured vehicle.Must be available weekends and some weekdays.Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care.Flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.Empathetic and resourceful and able to embody Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.Benefits for you!
