HammondCare At Home is continuing to expand our services and we are seeking a part-time Specialised Carer to provide support to our Clients across the Coffs Harbour, Boambee, Toormina and Bellingen areas.
Our specialised carer receives a work mobile phone, paid travel time and kilometres. We have flexible days of the week as well as start and finish times, and weekend loading if you choose to work weekends.
About the role
In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.
The care work you'll be doing may include:
Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressingHelping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaningProviding transportation to appointments and assisting with shoppingAssisting with medicationAbout you You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused.You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care.You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you.You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.Benefits $29.56 to $32.45 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone providedFull training is given to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessarySecure employment on a 14-day perm part-time roster so you can plan aheadSalary packaging - up to $15,900 tax freeFitness Passport membershipFirst Aid Certificate provided and paid for by usPaid Certificate III in Aged Care training available if you want to progressYou will be required to undertake a Police Check, Functional assessment, provide two referees and evidence of minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
