The requirements | What it takes to do this work No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
As a Home Care Worker, you'll also need: An empathy and commitment to the care of older people Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support OR prior experience in a related role Administer and Monitor Medications Certificate HLTHP007 (highly desirable) Good interpersonal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised Availability to attend our 3 day on-boarding program Current First Aid certificate or enrolled to obtain Current Drivers License, a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance What our Home Service Carers love about working here: Feeling safe and supported: We've built a highly supportive, close-knit community that values and respects each other.
