About Our Home Care Workers Our Gold Coast Home Care team based in Benowa is looking for Qualified and Unqualified Home Care Workers to service the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. Ideally covering Central and Southern areas of the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
As a Home Care Worker, you will have a varied and rewarding role. Working alongside aged care consumers with differing support needs, you will provide them with the appropriate support to achieve their goal of living independently within their own home.
In this varied and rewarding role you will support our clients by:
Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework; Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping; Providing personal care including showering, dressing, and continence care; Assisting clients with medication (qualified candidates); Support to develop a consumer-driven care plan. About You You are caring, empathetic, and seeking to make a difference. In addition, you are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.
To be suited to these positions, you will have:
Experience in providing excellent customer service; A current driver's licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes; Willingness to travel to our clients; Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work; Availability to work flexible hours including weekends; Certificate III in Individual Support (Qualified Candidates).
