About this role Bundaberg Home Care is a compassionate team of caring individuals, who are focused on keeping people happy, healthy and living independently in their homes. This role is a casual position. The focus area for this role is based around Bundaberg and Gin Gin regions; with the ability to venture into other suburbs surrounding.
In this varied role you will: Provide personal care assistance to clients; Help clients with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework; Assist with clients' medication; Provide social support to clients by providing transport, assisting with social outings, shopping etc. What you can bring to the team This position is perfectly suited for individuals who are compassionate, understanding, and looking for a profession that creates a positive impact for our ageing generation. You will be someone who enjoys taking the time to build relationships with clients.
To be suitable for this position, ideally you have: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent is highly regarded. Current driver's licence. A comprehensively insured vehicle that is suitable and available to be used for work purposes. Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates. Possess a current National Police Certificate. Possess a current Influenza Vaccination.
