As a Care Partner, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them with everyday activities such as:
Support and assistance with personal care (showering and dressing) Household cleaning and laundry Meal preparation Providing respite for carers Transport to and from appointments/shops Social support Assisting with complex care needs What do we need from you? You must live within or close to our client services located primarily in the Perth CBD, Mount Hawthorn, Vic Park & surrounding areas.
This casual position offers up to 20 hours per fortnight, depending on availability, with opportunities to increase hours as new clients join us.
Availability for a minimum of three (3) weekdays between 07:00am and 6:00pm is essential. Weekend availability is highly advantageous. You will need to be comfortable working independently in the community, possess excellent verbal communication skills, and have an empathetic, patient, and caring nature.
This role requires a valid Australian driver licence and a reliable motor vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance, as travel to clients' homes is necessary.
You will be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters, and client care plans. Background checks, including a new police check, are required at no cost to you. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one via BaptistCare at no cost.
