Do you want a fulfilling career that offers the opportunity to care for and support older people in our community?At WDHS, our Home Care Packages Team is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Package Care Manager to join us on a permanent part-time basis. This role offers you the opportunity to provide the highest standard of care to our care recipients, helping them live safely and independently at home.As a Home Care Package Care Manager, you will report directly to the Aged Care Services Manager, overseeing the service delivery for our care recipients. Working within a Consumer Directed Care framework, you'll manage the care and services for clients while staying within a set budget. Your excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills will be key to your success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the highest standard of care and service delivery to Home Care Package recipients.Manage care plans and services within a budget to enable recipients to remain independent at home.Report directly to the Aged Care Services Manager and be accountable for performance and service outcomes.Maintain excellent relationships with recipients and their families to ensure their needs are met.What We're Looking ForStrong organisational and time management skills.Excellent communication skills and a genuine care for older people.A passion for caring for older people and helping them live independently.Ability to negotiate, manage and operate within a budget.Experience in case management (preferred, but not essential).Advance competence with management information systems, including Microsoft Office.A degree, diploma, or certificate in community, health, or management (preferred but not required).What we can Offer YouSalary packaging options ($9010) and meals and entertainment card ($2650.00)Novated vehicle leasingExcellent employment conditions and staff health and wellbeing supportive cultureProposed Interview Date: Week commencing Monday 27 January 2025The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check.
